Ask ten software companies what your project will cost and you’ll get the same answer ten times: “It depends.” Then comes the discovery call, the scoping document, the change orders, and an invoice that somehow doubled while you weren’t looking. For a small business owner trying to plan a budget, that uncertainty is its own kind of tax.
We do it differently. Most of what small businesses actually need falls into a handful of well-understood shapes — so we package those shapes at a fixed price, published right on our pricing page with no login or “contact sales” wall. Here’s how that works, and how to figure out which package fits your business.
Why a Fixed Price Beats “It Depends”
Hourly billing quietly rewards the wrong things. The longer a project drags on, the more the vendor earns — so there’s no built-in pressure to move fast or scope tightly. You carry all the risk, and you find out the real number only after the work is done.
A fixed price flips that around. When we quote $4,995 for an internal tool, hitting that number is our problem, not yours. It forces us to scope honestly up front, say no to feature creep that doesn’t serve the goal, and actually ship. You get a figure you can drop into a budget and a launch window you can plan around — before any code is written.
The Packages, Smallest to Largest
Each package is a real, shippable outcome — not a vague block of hours. Here’s the full lineup:
- AWS Deploy + CI/CD — $1,995. You’ve got an app, but it’s living on someone’s laptop or a server held together with hope. We put it on AWS properly, with automated deployments so every change ships safely. (Worth skimming our small business guide to AWS first.)
- AI Chatbot Starter — $2,995. A genuinely useful assistant trained on your content, answering customer questions on your site — not a generic FAQ widget that frustrates everyone who touches it.
- Internal Tool MVP — $4,995. The custom dashboard or admin panel that finally replaces the tangle of spreadsheets your team runs the business on.
- AI Assistant Pro — $7,995. A step up from the starter chatbot: an assistant wired into your tools that can actually do things — look up an order, draft a reply, update a record — not just talk about them.
- Startup MVP — $9,995. A real first version of your product idea, built to put in front of users and investors. A working product, not a clickable prototype.
What’s Actually Included
Every package ships on the same foundation, because cutting corners there is exactly how “cheap” software gets expensive later. That means clean, documented code that you own outright — no proprietary platform you can’t leave. It means a production-grade stack (we build on Python, FastAPI, and React) instead of no-code duct tape that buckles under real traffic. And it means transparent timelines agreed before we begin.
What’s not included is the enterprise bloat: surprise implementation fees, mandatory retainers, “AI maintenance” surcharges, or features you’ll never open. If your project genuinely needs to grow into something larger, we’ll tell you plainly — and quote that, too, as a fixed number you can decide on.
How to Know Which One Fits
A quick gut check:
- Have software but deployment is a mess? Start with AWS Deploy.
- Customers keep asking the same questions? The AI Chatbot Starter pays for itself fast.
- Team running on spreadsheets and copy-paste? The Internal Tool MVP. (Here’s why that ceiling is real.)
- Want AI that takes action, not just answers? AI Assistant Pro.
- A founder with an idea that needs validating? The Startup MVP.
Still not sure? That’s normal — and it’s exactly the kind of conversation we like having. If your problem doesn’t map neatly onto a package, we’ll say so and scope a fixed quote for the real thing. And if a smaller package solves your actual problem, we’ll point you to it — even when a bigger one would earn us more. Transparent pricing only works if the advice behind it is honest too. If you want the longer view on what custom work runs in 2026, our cost breakdown lays it all out.
